Landmark Year

365 Days... 2024 is going to be one of the most important years in recent history. This year nearly all of the global democracy's will be going to the "Polls" to elect Local and National Government Representatives. As business's we all know that when prices go up they very rarely come down and I think that everyone in the Freight and Haulage Industry is still feeling the pain. Whether its Insurance, Rates, Fuel, Wages or Compliance. You just have to look around at the many viable business's that are closing or going bust. I just wonder if anyone out there is listening to Industry? Well we can make them listen and get out and VOTE for change.

As companies recover, and as we transit through 2023, with inflation and costs at record levels; many good companies have chosen just to “Close their Doors”.                            

Whilst we would all like to blame the CoVid 19, lockdown or Brexit, the truth is the economy is suffering because there is too much money in the system, as a result of quantitative easing and money printing, albeit mostly digitally.       

One of the definitions of madness is; "doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result " – have we learned nothing from the seemingly endless “Banking and Financial” failures.

Looking back is a more viable way to fix this – Taking the “Good” things from the past, integrating them into the now, and moving,forward into the future... Are we brave enough?
